The Retrofit

Hello!

Alright, so here's the deal. I have a very good friend named Emily who could use your help. If you've come this far, come a bit further.

Emily lives with a condition called Multiple Sclerosis. It can be physically debilitating and it's gotten to a point that Emily has limited movement and lowered stamina. Despite the hardships of MS, she is of strong mind and incomparable will. She's currently working on finishing up a degree at Columbia College. So, to make it easier on her and the folks around her, she'd like to get hand controls in her car so she can get around Chicago. Getting to school can be especially difficult otherwise.

And, that's where all you kind folks come in. The modifications are expensive and are looking to cost upwards of $2000 and I'm asking you to pitch in just the tiniest bit, whatever you can to help Emily do this. It would mean a lot to me and even more to her.

Please help if you can. Emily is an extraordinary person, believe you me. I love her and you would too, if you haven't already had the pleasure of meeting her.
